Description

Dream big! It’s America! A metaphor, the amazing first letter of the United States Constitution that says what this great big beautiful place its all about: WE. This message tee is a great way to show love of country, positive vibes, and an optimistic lifestyle. Great comfort casual tee for weekend, daily wear, nature, outdoor, wanderlust, day hiking, adventure, vacation, camping, and beach activities.

The Design

A classic is born! We got the highest resolution image available from the Library of Congress and had our artist Kem isolate WE out of the animal skin background for this design, which combines it with the most meaningful phrase, America Is Beautiful. Jacob Shallus, son of German immigrants, was Assistant Clerk to the Pennsylvania General Assembly, and was hired to pen the original United States Constitution. He did so with a goose quill pen using ink made of iron filings in oak gall that was black when applied but has now become brownish.

The Inspiration

This design was conceived by Martin, one of our owners and his mom drove him and his brother Stan up to D.C. from Florida in the 60’s, showed them the United States Constitution in its display case, from which it descends into a bomb proof bunker each night, and taught them that was who they were and what they were about. What is America? It is us, our national family. Our collective beliefs and determination.
